I am happy for him! This is as it should be.

May I ask what state he is in?

There seems to have been some progress since my divorce about 7 years ago.

The other question is did his ex oppose this?

Louisiana...

She fought him tooth and nail, for about two years.

There does seem to have been some progress in the last seven years. Certainly since I got divorced twelve years ago.

A lot of hard work went into making that change.

While we have not had much success in passing any legislation, the efforts do seem to have started a sea change in judicial decisions for the better by applying the existing laws.

We did manage to beat of a fierce counter attack by several determined women over the last three years. The Reps bill almost made it through the legislature last year being stopped in the Senate committee by a 2-1 vote. This year we stopped it in the House.

In fact, the last five guys that we helped all ended up with shared, co-dom. Wooo Hooo.

So join the party and help make the change.
