>>>On the other hand, their zeal for their faith puts many Christians to shame.>>>
So in your world fanatacism and 'zeal for faith' is not the same thing?
For that matter, let's envy those who followed Jim Jones and their "zeal for faith". Sheesh.

It may not be that dialogue is possible . . .
However . . . a bit of effort . . .
I don't know that zeal vs fanatacism is easy to distinguish in all respects at all times with all cases on the boundary line.
Nevertheless, one can be willing to die for one's faith without being a mindless, idiotic, irrational idiot.
I would agree that these women are mindless, idiotic, irrational, idiotic fanatics and that's not at all what I would encourage Christians to be.
However, in the sense that they put their faith first above even their affections for their husbands . . . and perhaps their own lives--that's a lot more zealous than folks who find getting up in time or turning off the morning TV, putting on a shirt and driving to church a few blocks just more than they can manage.
Now, if you have any more caustic insults--help yourself. It appears you might do well with further unburdening.
But then, perhaps you've never believed in something or someone enough to die for it or them. If so, a pity, that.
