I hear you.
Sleep is not something that I do well. Never have.
Unfortunately, I drag much of the time.

Hi and my very best regards to all. A few years ago on my first assignment for the Sunday Express to a WW11 flying display I photographed a rather nice femail dressed up in an American Airforce uniform climbing into the 'Sally B' our B17 that we keep flying here as a mark of respect to all those from your country who served here during the war.Much to my surprise it appeared as a huge front page picture.I did not know my editor Sir John Junor was so 'hetro'.I spent a lot of time after that photographing Young ladies in uniform ..
It was a grim job but then somebody had to do it. He He He He He.....

Oops. Sorry if you didn't like the 'pin-up' pic. Was just trying to provide a little vintage 'humor-break' ...for the Navy Troops/Vets. Well, back to the ol' drawing board I guess...
...Maybe you'll like this one better...

Nice job fatima!
Beautiful women years back.
No wonder the WWII vets were hyped.
These gals graced calendars. If amyone recalls visiting a service station, back then. And some were kept for many years. And displayed.
A Very proudly displayed calendar - for all to see!

Unfortunately no, a couple of years ago my health deteriorated..some heart and abdominal problems my blood pressure was a bit too high and the medics said ..no more pretty girls (except the wife).I could say I was 'devastated' but in truth I was pleased to get away.I sold most of my digital equipment ...bought a Film Leica M and some lenses..much less weight to carry around...and I now photograph the people and counties of East Anglia....Norfolk ,Suffolk and Essex and of course my blood pressure has returned to normal. I need to get to grips with posting some pics on this site any help or suggestions would be much appreciated FRegards to you all.

Take care of yourself Brit1.To post pictures on this forum as far as I know it has to be on the web.Get a picture program and get a printer that will scan your picture and then when it is stored just add some code.Freepmail me-you know how to use freepmail.I would love to see your pictures:)

Hi Fatima thanks for your message and good wishes.
I have Photoshop 9 and when I get film processed I get a CD written as well so that part of it is ok..its just when uploading them that I have problems. Anyway I think I might have got the hang of it now so with Gods Will and good fortune and instructions from one of my sons I shall be uploading sometime ( England v Portugal this afternoon in soccer World Cup) tomorrow.
Just one other message. I hear STS121 is due for launch at Kennedy around 8.30 pm GMT weather permitting.I want to wish them God Speed
a perfect mission and a safe return to Earth.
My hopes and prayers will be with them.

Prayers for them.Check in because we usually have a live thread going for launch and when they come down. Some insiders are usually on them which makes it more fun:).On the home page here there is a boot camp for HTML.Right click on my picture of Baby Sarah and go to properties and you will see the code for her picture. All you have to do is copy the code and add a little code- .Free Republic has a preview before you send so just preview it and see if it shows up.That's how I learned and Kathy in Alaska taught me:)
