Hume reported earlier that Keller asked The Wall Street Journal and Washington Post to join in their weekend "non-apology" but the Journal refused saying they printed the story only after it appeared in the Slimes and were unaware of the Administration request not to print it. Had they been asked, there's no question they would have honored the request.
Very interesting detail. One might have guessed as much. It's good to know it for sure. What about the Washington Post? Same story? They didn't know about the administration's request either?
