If the Culture of Death gains strength, they will start using the word "choice" less and less, their rhetoric will be more along the line of Marx's "Nothing can have value without being an object of utility."

A few short years back, we were eyewitness in France to the forced EXIT of a good friend, a recovering (not quite) alcoholic. While visiting her in the hospital, our other friend a fine and religious doctor pointed out to us the morphine drip that had been increased. Our friend had no desire to exercise her right to death, but the authorities must have been sure she really deep down wanted to die so without fanfare, they turned up the drip and exercised her right to be killed anyway. It was all over in an hour or so. Nobody to complain to, nobody to fight, just solid policy of the facility accepted by most everyone as sheep accept the path to slaughter. The policy has been solidly embedded as the same types are trying to do here.
She did not meet their standards for quality of life.
