I know what Fundamental chr*stians believe. And I constantly attack higher criticism. In fact, my constant harping on the issue probably drives some folks bonkers. I'm the Bible-bangin'est son of a gun on this forum.

I don't accept the "new testament" as part of the Bible, but there was a Bible before there was a "new testament." And lest you feel the need to "show" me that the "new testament" is the "fulfillment" of the "old," I used to believe that myself and I know all the arguments and reject them.

It's the chr*stians who want a literal "new testament" but hypocritically dismiss Genesis as myth or allegory who burn my biscuits!

This is likely a question that will reveal my idiocy, but why are some people spelling "Christians" with an asterisk in this thread? I have never seen that before.
