"Two Israeli military planes circled with dawn at a low height, near our shore. The air defense forces opened fire at the planes and they split up and left the area." Where's that pic of Baghdad Bob?

Meanwhile, UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan expressed concern over the recent incidents and the developing situation in the Palestinian Authority. Annan, who telephoned Prime Minister Ehud Olmert...If I were Olmert, I would have refused to take the call!

I'm sick of Syria. Let's turn it into a mall.
Before all is said and done, this is going to get ugly.

" He asked Olmert for Israel to act with restraint in its operations against the Hamas government in the Gaza Strip. " Too bad, so sad. Thats what happens when you get yourself elected, there are much larger consequences to your actions then.

"Annan, who telephoned Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, said he spoke with Syrian President Basher Assad and with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, and urged them to aid in the release of the kidnapped soldier. He asked Olmert for Israel to act with restraint in its operations against the Hamas government in the Gaza Strip."
Thanks Annan. It would have probably have been just as helpful to have simply farted into the receiver.

UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan expressed concern over the recent incidents... Whew! Thank goodness.
No doubt a few phone calls from Komfy Anus will straighten this whole mess out.

then Israel is making a scandalous mistake that is crossing the boundaries of logic," the source said. It was indeed a "scandalous mistake" Israel made. They forgot to level Damascus and Al-Sader. Bad Israel! Bad! Bad! Bad! Do not make that "scandalous mistake" ever, ever again!

hmmmm, Israel has named the current operation "Summer Rain"
Do ya think the general that named it has seen Taxi Driver and is referencing Travis Bickle's "Some day a real rain is going to come along and wash all the scum from the streets"?
I wonder how popular that flick was in the arab world and if they get it?

Syria claims innocence, and yet: What ever happened to the WMD that Iraq shipped over to them. They seem to claim neutrality while workin in the dark to help terrorists.
Didnt Syria run out the Palestinians and yet: They help them in their terrorist acts and hide the Hamas leader.
It seems Syia is stirring the crap with a long stick they deny holding.
