My favorite barbecue place!

Anybody who has waited in that alley (while salivating like Pavlov's dog) knows their patience was well rewarded with excellent food.

Her's a shot of the alley & restaurant:

Rendevouz is one of the only bright spots in Memphis. I don't blame the president for taking him there. Then again, Platinum Plus is kind of nice.

I like Corkys a lot better - their pulled pork bbq sandwich is the best -

Rendezvous for the dry ribs, Corky's for the pulled pork. Corky's onion loaf is to die for. Germantown Commisary's pulled pork plate is good and their deviled eggs on the side are really good.

My second oldest's daughter's late husband was from Memphis. He loved that barbecue place. We never got there, the wife and I but I remember the name from him talking about it. He was a chef by the way, in Las Vegas at one time... long ago. He knew his FOOD and he loved barbeque. BIG TIME!
