Yes, "societal restraints" was an unfortunate phrase. What those feminists really want is for their physical appearances to play no role whatsoever in their attractiveness to men...and that is a futile attempt to repeal a law of biology.

And they're failing abysmally. Note the hyperfocus among women on beauty, plastic surgery and weight loss these days. Star Jones just reflects the trend. The feminist attack on traditional womanhood is failing too -- note the divorce rate, the unwilligness of many guys to marry and the efforts more women are making to rebalance work and family and come off as more traditional women.
