Being stupid is genetic, being ignorant is inexcusable. Because the illegal immigration issue is all that you eat and breath does NOT equate to illegal immigration is all that this country lives and breaths. There are a hundred other issues that are more important to the well being of this country.

Because illegal immigration affects every man, woman and child in this country in one way or another. Whether its schooling, health care, and a host of other issues. Illigal immigration is killing our country. If you dont think so you adopt an ilegal immigrant ant pay for him. Becuase as a taxpayer, I will not pay for illegals.

Until it becomes Atzlan one day, when you aren't looking. Then maybe it will become your number one issue, but of course, it will be too late. Unfortunately those of your ilk will have dragged down the rest of us with you.

I'm sorry, but I can't totally agree with you. There are other IMPORTANT issues, but immigration is also an important issue and controlling our borders is an important part of our security in the WOT. Our population reached 300 million just a short while ago, when I see the projected differences uncontrolled immigration makes in our national population, even 20 years from now, I am very troubled.

Our economy is also adversely affected, as are schools, medical care, on and on, ad infinitum. Just how long this damage can continue without having a serious affect on our standart of living is anyones guess.

So, no, I don't see immigration and border control as "less important" than, for example, the WOT, I consider it part of the WOT---a part that has been badly neglected by the federal government for too long a time.

Texasforever: There are a hundred other issues that are more important to the well being of this country.

Is that why the last 40-50 of your comments on FR were on illegal immigration?

I agree with you that there are certain issues more important than illegal immigration. The 2nd Amendment is one of them. However, the fact that you rank it so low as to be out of the "top 100" really makes me question your conservatism. Please tell me you were being sarcastic.
