"Australian researchers say they have discovered that dingo urine can act as a repellent for use in everything from rehabilitating old mine sites to reducing roadkill."
"At one stage we fashioned a little urine catcher to walk dingoes and collect it from, but that tended to be risky," Parsons said.

Maybe Hillarity has been drinking dingo urine all her life -- that would explain some of her repellant qualities.......

Hmmm, those of us with diabetic dogs can attest that gathering dog urine has its moments. With a male, it's fairly easy, you just walk him out to the yard, then catch it in a small container so you can test it. Of course, being a male, there's the fair chance he won't hit the mark...
I once had a Queensland Heeler (dingo), and I'm not sure I would have wanted to have collected urine from that one! It does explain, however, why we had few other critters venture into the yard during that period.

My Australian Cattle Dog is part dingo. A wonderful dog by the way!! But his urine in my yard does not get rid of the Michigan mosquitoes nor deter my neighbor's cat from peeing in my garden.
