Passing an amendment is the wrong mechanism to stop desecration to our Flag. We've had two Constitutional amendment resolutions in as many months. At this rate we may as sell lottery tickets. The winner gets to put forth is own resolution. Do we want to see the Constitution look like our tax code?

Do we want to see the Constitution look like our tax code? Hundreds of Amendments have been proposed or introduced over the years. Remember, this would still have to go to the states, where 38 of them would have to ratify it.
I think we are a long way from over-amending the Constitution.
