Oh, you can have private property....The Flag is the exception....whether they like it or notAh, I see. Limiting private property rights. Even if I own it I don't really own it. All because a group of people that want to protect a piece of cloth as it makes them 'feel' good say so. Excellent conservative values you have there....

Apparently the common argument is that you personally do not own any individual flag, even if you travel to a store and exchange money for the posession of one. The argument is that the flag belongs to "the people". Such a system seems socialistic to me.
