I lived in Southern California during the Manson killings.

To give you some perspective, I wasn't alive during the Manson killings. You are either the most sensitive person in the world or you just woke up from a coma.

Well... that says a whole lot... they were satanistic killings in which a baby was cut from the belly of Sharon Tate, and that was just one of the things they did that night in that secluded home on Cielo Drive and then carried forward the next night in the home of the LaBianca's and didn't have any connection at all with the Tate murders.

The thought that someone could come into our homes, in the middle of the night, and carve us to bits and write satanic verse on the walls and sheets with their blood, cut through Los Angeles and surrounding areas like a knife.

The trial of these people only added to the horror.
