No worries. I have to assume at this point that even having sample packs would get you busted depending on the situation.
"....labeled as being issued to the physician rather than Mr. Limbaugh for privacy purposes...."
Hmmmmmmm..........
Are we a nation that believes in the rule of law?
Is it wrong or right to "look the other way" when a law has been broken?
Like when foreign nationals cross our border illegally, or when someone obtains controlled substances in violation of the law?
Food for thought
Is this NYT report a joke. Did this really happen?
Whatever happened to "It's just about sex?"
Looks like Rush is becoming a career criminal. Also looks like the Palm Beach prosecutor has nothing better to do with his time than prosecute Rush for crimes no one has ever heard of, which were probably invented just for Rush.
He sure did. It was quite hard-hitting.
Well.....they have rid the city of cigarette smokers.
Yes,depending on the situation. If the cops catch you with a single sample pack of,say,a prescription allergy medication, they could ask questions...particularly if they were bored.
If you say,"oh,Dr Smith over at the Maple Medical Clinic gave it to me" then they might call him.If he denies it,you could be in trouble.I don't know how much trouble (perhaps not a lot in *this* situation) but who knows!
Like someone said earlier: the Slimes wants to protect the privacy rights of Al Qaeda. The Slimes wants to violate the privacy rights of Rush Limbaugh (or, insert any effective conservative media figure).
Well the left must not take Viagra ...They have Al Gore... he's the stiffest piece of wood their is
Ever hear of masturbation?
Rush is cruising the Dominican ladies in the DR. He's got a bottle a Viagra and having a good time. Yes, those Domican girls are very pretty. I see no issue here. Go for it Rush!
Why can't people make their own decisions about what risks to take? Addictive narcotics eliminate a user's ability to make their own decisions, but other drugs don't. Why is it okay for any adolescent to buy acetaminophen off the shelf when it can destroy the liver, but an adult can't buy Viagra without a prescription? Caffeine affects the heart rate too. Many over-the-counter antihistamines can cause a dangerous plunge in blood pressure if combined with grapefruit or grapefruit juice. Over-exertion often triggers heart attacks, but people are still allowed to make their own decisions about how hard to exert themselves. Sun-bathing often results in fatal skin cancer, but people are still allowed to do it as much as they like. End the nanny-state!
This is not a perfectly legitimate explanation; it is in violation of federal law, as every prescription this law applies to must say right on the label, "Caution: Federal Law prohibits transfer of this prescription to anyone except the person named.". Both the doctor and patient are in trouble in this case; there is no way that the doctor doesn't know this; he'd have been in prison long ago... BTW, I don't agree with the law, it is stupid, but isn't right to pretend that Rush or the Doc are in the right here legally... morally, yeah, but not legally.
Great line. My wife is Japanese and has trouble with the L and R words. Most of the time it is hilarious.
Mahalo
