The guy's been divorced three times, no one is going to confuse him for their personal moral barometer.

"Limbaugh's bad judgment in his personal affairs may well impair his ability to champion conservatism.
"

Rush has lost a lot of his influence over the years. He still has an audience, but I don't think it's a very influential audience any more.

He has marginalized himself, I believe.

In other, more important news:

BOSTON (AP) - A Massachusetts lawmaker is trying to get himself out of a sticky situation by dropping his opposition to Marshmallow Fluff.

This story is such a ridiculous, blatant attempt to trash Rush, it makes me sick to my stomach. Who cares if he uses viagra?! It's not illegal. Did they tell us if there were any underaged girls on the plane who were using birth control pills? How about checking to see who wears thongs and who wears bikini underwear, and then reporting that information nationwide?! Invasion of privacy? Yes! Isn't it interesting that no one else had the contents of their bags broadcast to the world. I hope Rush sues.

"Rush boffing prostitutes in the Dominican Republic; or prostitutes ANYWHERE?

I don't think so!
"

I have no idea, frankly, what Rush's morals are, nor do I care. I'm just pointing something out. Fornication doesn't just have to do with prostitutes. Again, I don't really care who Rush has sex with, unless it's someone underage.

Others may care, however.

Limbaugh's errors are serious only if he fans are offended. That's it. And I doubt they seriously are.

I don't. Taint' none of my bidness, and I hope he gets what all he wants to get. Wish I was that lucky-if you know what I mean! :0 )

Fornication is probably THE most popular activity among young people (18 to 35). When I was a single man, I was always quite eager to fornicate. But boy, I tell you what, fornication is the real "gateway drug". In so many cases the behavior slides down that slippery slope and leads to marriage. You would think Rush would know better, since he has already slid down the marriage slope 3 times. I would hate to see him have a marriage relapse.

You equate a bottle of Viagra to bribery and murder?

Your words, not mine. However, public perception is important in terms of the credibility of a person who is a high visibility celebrity. This is especially true for someone like Limbaugh, who is a lightning rod for left wing criticism and, in the case of the Palm Beach County DA, was and is the victim of a political witch hunt. The MSM reflexively hates him as much as we despise Hillary and Bill Clinton.

If you make a living in part by pointing out liberal hypocrisy and wrongdoing, it is well to remember the adage about people living in glass houses. Limbaugh should have exercised better judgment.

True enough, but, in extension of your premise, marriage seems to appear to lead to adultery, if statistics are to be believed.

Shouldn't Customs have a duty to keep its mouth shut about something like this until it has completed an investigation (which would no doubt who that the Viagra was indeed prescribed from Rush)? And for that matter, shouldn't our Customs agents have more pressing matters to attend to than investigating whether personal-use quantities of Viagra that they discover in luggage were obtained via legitimate prescription? And what business does our government have requiring a prescription for any non-narcotic drug in the first place?

Indeed.

Does this mean Rush can't represent the hard right anymore?

I thought it was Bill Clinton who, er, had a starboard camber...

That may well be, but it would be illegal to mail them to customers in the United States, I believe. That doesn't mean it isn't happening, but it would be illegal.

You needn't do that, really, since there are drug sites where a doctor will write a prescription based on your answers to a short questionaire.

Me, I'm not going to use such sites. It seems risky to me, since there are conterfeit drugs out there.

I'm single (divorced) and travel every other month or so. I keep a toilet kit with spare razor, toothbrush, comb, etc ready to go.

I also keep a few condoms tucked in it. Do I plan to get laid on every trip? No.

I have little doubt that with Rush's travel schedule that he has similar arrangements, besides, wasn't he in DC before heading to DR? Perhaps he had a liason with a DC honey?

Regardless, it's none of our business and it's a sin, and probably a crime, that the officials at the Palm Beach Airport decided to leak all of this.

Now if Rush had gone on vacation with Ann Coulter that would have been a real story. Nothing to see here move on folks. Remember the Left pandering to Drug Addicted Actors Robert Downey Jr. And wanted all kinds of forgiveness. The fiasco with Patrick Kennedy and he had Viagra. This is meant to make the Political Personal. That Rush made a joke out of it. Tells you Boat loads about Rush as a person.

The difference between you and Rush Limbaugh is that you are a private individual, whereas he is a high profile public personality. Like it or not, those in the public eye lose much of their anonymity. Add to that the fact that Limbaugh represents a big target of liberal wrath and he is perceived to have certain vulnerabilities that, say, President Bush does not have.

The liberal media and their friends in Federal, state, and local governments have Limbaugh in their sights. He would do well to remember that at all times.
