Predators at that age. Lock em up and throw away the key, or they will murder someone.

My spidey sense tells me that he was there for something more than just a fun chat. Once the girls tell the police the whole story, they, and he, can count on corresponding as "pen" pals.

"This was not the girl that the picture was of on MySpace," the victim said.

Wow, whodda thunk it!

He says her prfile showed sexy photos, and a blurb which said “just lookin’ for something fun”.

Who would think that this would end badly?

The so-called Natalia did tell the victim that she was 18, so he was shocked to learn he was actually talking to a 14-year-old.

"Shocked"? The writer has a great sense of humor.

That brief, friendly description was all he knew about her before they planned to meet.

Even though these guys are looking for a little excitement, don't you think they should try something safer?

Like maybe driving around in downtown Detroit with their windows down, looking for crack whores?

His story is pretty easy to verify. The cops will just check the MySpace for this Natalia critter, and if it says what he says it says, that's it.

Notice that there was "another male suspect" arrested as well. That's where the scam comes in. This other guy, probably a bit older, figures this is the perfect set up. What guy is going to go to the cops when he'll be accused of having a rendezvous with underage girls? They figure they steal the wallet, he leaves, and they'll never hear from him again. So he gets these girls, and they pull this thing off repeatedly.

Glad they got busted.

A romantic assignation arranged through a website turns bad, and persons on that website were misrepresenting themselves. I must say I'm shocked. But then I would be since I'm really a 13-year-old girl named Jessica who's just out to meet generous older men for some fun...

Well, we can all thank this moron for being a moron. He successfully handed these two little queens a 10 year sentence. Florida has a wonderful thing called "10-20-life". They won't be bothering anyone soon. :-)

"10-20-LIFE

In 1999, Governor Bush signed into law the 10-20-LIFE bill. The law requires a minimum 10-year sentence for crimes committed with a gun, a 20-year sentence for firing the gun during the commission of a crime and 25 years to life if the bullet fired causes death or injury."

When are people going to realize that meeting someone they 'met' on line in anything but a very public setting is lunacy? (They should take at least one friend with them too!)

MySpace: Where men are men, women are men, and underage girls are undercover cops.
