You are attempting to use a word with multiple meanings and usages as a justification for claiming a logical connection between a theory of biology and a theory of cosmology. That is a semantic play, not a logical argument.

That is a semantic play, not a logical argument. And at the same time it seems that there is an attempt to narrow the definition of evolution. Perhaps you find fault with Carl Sagan in his series "Cosmos" where he shows a line from the big bang to man. He uses the term evolution for each step of the process. Google evolution and you'll get about a half a billion hits but narrow it to stellar or planetary or galactic and you will still get millions. A natural explanation for man's existance must and does include the whole story, not just the biological part.
