Incredibly, after 9/11 they expect to get elected on that platform.

I'm pretty sure that 2008 will be quite a surprise for them.  They seem to think that the average American is an utterly ignorant Bush-hater who views the war on terror as merely a smokescreen for "big oil" to "rape Iraq".  I will be so delighted in November 2008 when whoever they run on that sort of platform will be absolutely stomped into the ground.

Apparently they require a long learning curve, and I ( and the majority of Americans) will be delighted to provide that for them.

I was listening to Rush in the car last week when a caller made that very claim to Roger Hedgcock. I almost swerved off the road. I couldn't believe that after all this time there are still people who believe that oil was the cause for going into Iraq.

As Roger pointed out, then why do we have $3.00 + a gallon oil? There are a lot of clueless people out there.
