Sex in public not unusual
June 27, 2006
NUDITY, streaking and sex in public were "not unusual" aboard the cruise ship on which mother of three Dianne Brimble died, the Pacific Sky's former night manager said yesterday.
Ann Taylor said examples of such behaviour were so frequent that it would take up all their time to record the incidents.
"If you were to write up every person that was running around naked there would be 15 to 20 security log books," Ms Taylor told the inquest, referring to both men and women. "Sometimes there was 15 to 20 a night."
Ms Taylor said she often had to separate couples caught engaging in sex acts in public. "An explanation was given like 'come on man, you're doing the wrong thing, there's children around'," she said.
Asked if these practices were common during her more than 10 years working on board cruise ships, she said: "All the time".
She said it was often better to "embarrass them" rather than "read them the riot act".
Ms Taylor, who finished working for P&O cruises in December 2004, said that behaviour needed to be reined in to ensure all passengers enjoyed their cruise.
The inquest, which has heard allegations of drug use by passengers and Mrs Brimble's own death by an overdose of the drug GHB or Fantasy, was also told monitoring such drug use was near-impossible.
Scratch my head.
My taste in recreational drugs runs to, um Jack Black, but isn't GMB 'the date rape drug'? Or am I confusing it with some other three letter combo.
Always one jerk who has to ruin the fun for everyone else.
Maybe she shouldn't have worked the swingers cruises! lol
In B4 the Crazy Naked People Ping
So, is this the boat we book for the Freeper cruises?
