It's so peaceful to drive up Camarillo and enjoy the scenery at the same time. I hope the buffer of Thousand Oaks will shield from the onslaught of LA but of course I can only dream...

Too late: LA has arrived and there's much more of it every year. I live in Camarillo and it's still pretty and peaceful here for the most part. But drivers are becoming increasingly aggressive and inconsiderate and that 'small town feeling' is disappearing quickly beneath a lot of LA 'attitude.' We have a few good years left though. I think the Outlet Mall was designed to attract people from LA, first for shopping and then to buy real estate.

I'm with you, Bernard. I remember moving here when Camarillo was a much smaller, isolated city. Things have... changed.
