Let me see if I can articulate this:
The left does not wish for the US to fail. They could care less if it fails or not. NO, their sole goal is to get control of the House, the Senate, and the White House.(HSWH).
Every thing they utter, every thing they say, every thought they have, has but one goal,...control of the HSWH.
Conservatives will get together, at the local coffee shop, the bar, around the water cooler, or the political convention, and cuss and discuss, regards the direction the party should take. Heck, that is what we do on FR.
Dems get together, or often singletons, and have but one thought, to regain the HSWH.
You ask a conservative what their views are, and they will tell you, and it covers a broad spectrum of ideas. You ask dems, and their answer will be geared to get the most votes for....yes...to regain control of the HSWH. It started long ago, and FDR perfected it. Every move, every program, every government deal, was solely for the purpose of control of the HSWH.
Johnson's great society, the entire welfare gig, the expansion of SS, victimhood, diversity, even motor voter, indeed every program the left has created or endeavored to create, is but for one reason, (repeat after me) control of the HSWH.
Conservatives in general (with many exceptions) wish to empower the individual, create opportunity for citizens, while the left's every move, every utterance, every thought and every vote, has but one goal (yeah, one more time) the control of the HSWH.
Therefore, everytime you read, hear or witness a leftie say or do anything, just rtemember, they have to basis or foundation for their actions, other than simply to regain and maintain control of the HSWH.
Now, think of everything you have heard, from the clinton administration to the present, and parallel those thoughts with the thought that dems want what?
