My Grandmother was a friend of Margaret Mitchell's at one point in their lives. Until her dying day my Grandmother couldn't believe MM wrote that book.

LOL!
Don't know what the matter has been with Will lately. He seems to spend most of his time apologizing for being conservative.
He ought to just say what he thinks and let the chips fall where they may.

Please clarify. Are you saying that your Grandmother DID not believe MM wrote that book?

Here's what my deceased father said in his auto-biography about GWTW..."Margaret Mitchell asked Father John LeLand to proofread and correct, and in fact he nearly re-wrote the book for her. He was the imprimateur of the Covington Dioces".
Don't know if this is true, but this is what he remmebered.
