Same-sex marriage comes with same-sex divorce. That's going to stop a lot of people. .6% is pretty good considering homosexuals only make up 1-2% of the population.

- Population that can marry (est. 60% >18) - 26,465,118
- Homo population >18 (est. 2%) - 52,930
- Total homo unions - 1,275
- 2.4%, but since every union requires two homos, actually 4.8% of the homo population (permitted to marry). So round it to 5% -- extremely low.
Which confirms that 'gay marriage' is farce perpetrated by homo miltants both upon their own people and upon the greater public.

".6% is pretty good considering homosexuals only make up 1-2% of the population."Those statistics are misleading. The population of Spain is 40 million. Assume your 1-2% number, and that works out to 400,000 to 800,000 homosexuals. 2550 of them got married (1275 marriages).
That's between .3% and .6% of the homosexual population. And that represents the first-year rush to the altar.
