Matt Cooper is officially gone from Time and is joining Conde Nast Portfolio, a business magazine starting up next year. This is definitely not a positive career move. They may try to cover it up, but he was definitely pushed out from Time. They are trying to build up some distance so that they have "plausible deniability."

Since he is a political reporter, first, last and always, his move to a business mag is the equivelant of banishment to Siberia.

OK, Freepers. It's time to pull out all possible contacts and get this story out there. This is the chink in their armor, the break in the dike, the last straw and whatever other cliche you can think of.
