Same thing will happen this cycle too
They're running towards Kos and the rest of the moonbats during the primaries and most of them will run away in the lead up to the general election, except for the ones who only need the moonbats to win, like Nancy Pelosi. The presidential election cycle will be the same, just as Republicans will sidle up to then denounce and run away from those they view the same way... us.
Never trust a politician. Use them, but don't trust them. They'll almost always do what pays off for them, regardless of what it does to the people or the country. There are few exceptions. In the Democrat party Joe Lieberman stumbled when he was blinded by ambition and took the VP nomination, but he's back on track. President Bush may do things that I disagree with, but I don't think he does things (at least no important things) out of any motive other than what he honestly believes to be in the best interests of the country.
And Dick Cheney and Don Rumsfeld are in the enviable position of just not giving a damn what anybody (except the President) thinks. It must be very liberating. I get the feeling that both men are enjoying themselves immensely.
I agree with you about Cheney and Rumsfeld...especially Rumsfeld. I get the distinct impression during his pressers that he is having the time of his life.
I fully agree with that. Rumsfeld was earning miilions in business. Cheney from Halliburton, John Snow from wall street, recent addition Treasury Sec.nominee from Goldman Sachs (whose networth is 475 million & last year income alone 42 million).
If Bush is a lame duck & don't know anything but to eat & sleep, why all these intelligent people coming to work for him? The answer is self explanatory than what MSM says.
