Boxer is harping on Republicans refusing to start a timetable. It turns out we (the Rats) were on the same page as General Casey. (Now we know the point of the leak).

She also says we have lost control of an exit strategy and Maliki is pushing amnesty on those who harmed our troops and it is humiliating.

She is without doubt the most annoying person I have seen on TV in a while.

Reports on Maliki (according to Lugar) is that he is trying to negotiate with the Sunnis. Sunnis don't have the numbers and they don't have the oil. Lugar oppposes amnesty. Says we would advise through ambassador.

Lugar is absolutely the WORST at articulating administration policy.

Now they are on to North Korea.

Even liberal Mara Liason said today that it was the Iraqi government which should decide what to do about giving amnesty to the insurgents, not the USA.

Boxer thinks the North Korea problem exists because Bush was "obsessed" with Iraq. Lugar babbles about Clinton administration asking him to go and then North Korea called it off.

This was a total waste of my time. Nothing newsworthy, nothing said that we have not heard, except for one thing:

Boxer's emphasis on how the democrats "were on the same page as General Casey" indicates to me that this news was leaked to the NYT by a Congressional democrat for the exact purpose that Boxer used it for this morning.

Boxer really is a very stupid person. We have "Amnestied" people who have harmed our troops after every war we have ever fought. What does she think we are doing when we accept a surrender? Someone should ask one of these complete political bigots if that means they are advocating we NOT take prisoners anymore? What this "No Quarter" Democrats?
