Congressman Peter King has just announced (on WABC radio's Religion on the Line Program) that when he comes on the FOX News Program with Chris Wallace he will call on the Attorney General to institute a criminal prosecution of the New York Times, under the Espionage Act and the Comint Act.
Peter King is the Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee.
What .. no hearings from Crongress to invesigate these leaks
Gee .. I wonder why
RUT Roh......scooby
Good. More light needs to be shown on what those bastards did.
About time someone did.
I for one am sick and tired of watching or reading the drive-bys getting so out of control on every one of our troops that are killed without giving the other side. How many insurrrrgetns, uhh make that terrorists, were killed as well. This is blatant bad and biased journalism in a WOT to give one side's losses only and never ever mentions the other side. It stinks and I am fed up with it.Making it even worse is there is never ever a mention of how good we are actually doing troop/loss wise in comparison to other wars.Disgusting.
While I am at it, since I have to work today, did any of you listen to Rush the other day when he did a mini-monologue on why we need to stop listening to the msm/drivebys. He hit on exactly what I have been saying for months now.
We have a new media,it is talk radio, a few t.v. nets that get it, blogs on the Internet and sites like ours here at FR. We are The New Media and we are slowly but surely replacing The Old Drive-by Media., It's time we acted like it as Rush suggests.
Seems every reporter still wants to be the next Woodward and Bernstein.
Peter King keeps moving up a notch in my book every time I hear him speak. I'd like to see the NY Times go down but at the very least, the leaker needs to be identified and prosecuted for treason!

And, he did in fact, just do so on FNC. Of course, Specter danced around the issue and wanted to hear/know more. Too bad he didn't have the same reaction when the NSA 'wire taps' story came out. Specter did say that, based on what he knows, the banking issue is different than the NSA and he felt that the Admin has every right under the law to do what they've been doing. Of course, I suspect if he feels the Judiciary Committee needs to investigate they will, and, he added that he wants to hear more from AG Gonzales when he appears in a couple of weeks.
