I lost my dad ten years ago and the song made me think of him. It is a beautiful song.
Kieran mentioned her grandfather had served, as well. It is hard to realize how many of our veterans we are losing each day.
"Before You Go" is such a beautiful and long-delayed tribute to these wondrous men that even hearing it and seeing their aging faces brought tears rolling down my cheeks....tears of love for them and what they did for all of us.
