You are fortunate. Thank them, from so many of us, for their service.

When I took my kids to Pearl Harbor, it was so great to have some of the veterans who were there telling us about it.

For this past Memorial Day they both returned to their home town of Piermont, NY to take part in the dedication of a new WW II memorial.

While here on the east coast they spent a lot of time in NYC. During Fleet Week they met two very yound sailors who were asking directions to various points of interest in the city.

Well, those two old soldiers took the two younguns around the city and then to a pub for a drink before they parted.

What a wonderful visit for them all.

My kids just adore their uncles. We honor their service and always thank them.

Every male in the family, inlcuding our own son served in the armed forces of the United States.
