The Talk Shows
Sunday, June 25th, 2006
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): Sens. Carl Levin, D-Mich., and John Warner, R-Va.; Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y.; Sen. Arlen Specter, R-Pa.; presidential speechwriter Michael Gerson.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Sen. Russ Feingold, D-Wis.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Sens. Richard Lugar, R-Ind., and Barbara Boxer, D-Calif.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Sens. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and Richard Durbin, D-Ill.; outgoing Harvard President Lawrence Summers (TW may be preempted in some locations due to coverage of the World Cup.).
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai; Sens. Joseph Biden, D-Del., and Chuck Hagel, R-Neb.; Iraqi Oil Minister Hussein Shahristani; former Secretaries of State Madeleine Albright and Henry Kissinger.
The Dems saw Iraq in the 90's as a convenient punching bag to show that they were tough on foreign policy. They never had any intention of knocking Hussein out.
Bump
Eric Lichtblau on now. Just started.
WOW .. I didn't know Jesse Jackson has a radio show called "Keep Hope Alive" ... *L*

Great reminder, Peach. Thanks!
I agree
Though you really should have heard Kerry on the Senate Floor .. he made a complete Fool out of himself
Not in my opinion. Nebraska needs a whole fresh start.
Thanks SE Mom.
Wow great stuff, the "Keys" mention really got my attention, turns out its the "other Keys" in Texas.
New Freeper really has some brilliant comments there.
That's the only way team USA could get close to their opponents' posts.
If one talk show host had the smarts to confront the Democrats with their previous words about WMD, I'm sure the leftists would say they had faulty intelligence from the Bush administration.
But they couldn't use that excuse for their public statements in 1998 and I wish just ONE reporter would at least ask the question.
Will check in later; can't watch the shows today.
Repeat a lie often enough and someone is going to eventually believe it. In this case, it's the main stream media that has fallen for it.
Fortunately, actual voters are usually seeing through it all.
What a great video link that is, Mo1! We should send that to Ken Mehlman, Chairman of the RNC, and encourage him to use some of those clips in commercials during the '06 election.

Excellent, Peach! Great resource to use for "Letters to the Editor", if various Freepers have in mind sending letters to challenge the DBM and moonbats....
Of course not. An incompetent ignoramous from Texas fooled them all with his lies but we should trust them now to handle the terrorists.
"Before You Go" is such a beautiful and long-delayed tribute to these wondrous men that even hearing it and seeing their aging faces brought tears rolling down my cheeks....tears of love for them and what they did for all of us.
I really think it's strange that a candidate, any candidate, is so hesitant in appearing on the Sunday shows. All the others are clamoring to get on, but not Hillary. The only answer I can come up with is she's deathly afraid of being exposed for who and what she really is.
Julian just commented on the e-mails he is getten - not supporting his view.
You would think that reminding key rats like you mentioned Peach would be sufficient. But it's not they reserve the right to change their minds on a moments notice and are aided and abetted by the drive-bys.
That's why what we do here is so important. It sets the record straight and keeps the focus on what it should be ---the truth.
