Don't anybody spoil Brit's "Weekly Juan slapdown' for me(lol)...we are an hour behind u guys and it is the only reason I still watch these weekly dem/Rhino love fests!
Our military has always graciously accepted the surrender of its enemies at hostilities end. War crimes trials and (pre-hostilities cease fire) calls for unconditional surrender, IMHO, just serve to harden the enemies resistance and prolong the fighting to no good end. Yes, some enemies need to be beat into the mud, but even then, once they surrender we can do that sort of thing as required.
All the finger pointing and such can be sorted out after the surrender. Part of the terms, when they approach with their white flag, is, of course, used to get those accused of the more heinous crimes into our hands for "processing" later. There's no need to show our hand in any case until we play it out.
Everything he says about Bush, or the republicans, has a negative spin on it. Whether he is implying it or not, he makes it abundantly clear where he stands regarding his views of this president. Gregory is a total idiot--and an incompetent "journalist".
I am on CBS waiting for Face the Nation. The morning show had a nice piece on Robert Duvall, one of the Hollywood people I respect because he doesn't talk about politics, plus he is a fine actor. There is a movie premiering on AMC tonight which he acted in and edited. It is a western.
Snugs, Whitehouse.com wasn't much different than Whitehouse.gov during the period Jan. 1993-Jan. 2001.
Same smut, different top-level domain.
So true. But, but, but...like John Kerry, he speaks FRENCH. LOL BTW remind me who his wife is....the whole DC crowd is so intermarried.
I like Duval too. Wasn't he in Lonesome Dove?
Excellent analysis AB!
Yup, I took another look, and I posted the wrong jpeg. Sorry to you Snugs!
Isn't it interesting how Democrats and the left support the NYTimes right to print anything, even if it costs American lives, while supporting the "fairness doctrine" which would limit free speech from the right.
Good grief..Arlen Specter is a moron! He sounds always sounds like he has marbles in his mouth.
I haven't seen Brit yet either. I watch it on the re-reun in the afternoon. This thread lets me know when to turn it on to miss all the BS I really don't want to watch.
I posted this up-thread, but will repeat it here NMJohnnie.
They just read my email on cpsan....since I"m a frequent caller, and they ask you not to call too often, I sent an email this time. My email was to Mr. Lichtblau asking him why american's should continue to provide tax dollars to NYCity in support of anti-terrorist activities, when the city's paper of record just reveals that information to the terrorists so they can plan around it to attack the city, and the country. Mr. Lichtblau's response: "good point" and then no other conversation on this topic. HA!
Follow the link that anita posted, folks. It's to an article in NRO by Byron York titled:
The Kerry Campaigner on the Republican Staff of the Senate Intelligence Committee
It's real and the staffer works for Hagel.
There are RINOs and then there are RINOs.
Just as there are traitors and then there are traitors.
Right. Their lust for power knows absolutely NO bounds. For the uninformed lib nincompoops....like Pavlov's dogs, they just salivate over every put down the libs utter about duly elected President Bush. But there's no food/truth in their dish....we, the alternate media, have them out in the open and see them for what they are. Let'em starve.
See my post # 38. The producers and hosts of the shows DO NOT want real conservatives on their shows. They have an agenda, Bulldaddy, and Sessions (my great Senator!), Cornyn, Santorum, etc, etc, do not help that agenda.
I've been posting this thread every Sunday since 1999, and it's been this way since then. The drive-by media use the Sunday shows not to inform the nation as to what's going on, but to define the issues they want the way they want them defined.
Our thread is our challenge to them. They've been figured out. Pray that we'll have an impact with the public at large, God willing.
Yes. Lonesome Dove was one of the great westerns of all time. IMO.
Duval won an Oscar for his performance in "Tender Mercies" or maybe it was "Tender Mercy" where he played an aging singer. A great movie.
Of course I'm a Duval fan and remember his first "starring" role in "To Kill a Mockingbird".
