I'd imagine maybe he was there telling John Effing Kerry the locations of VC alligned barrels of rice that he could toss grenades into, to add to his own Purple Heart collection.
Between this information, and others, and the Abscam bombshell that has been brought BACK to light, Murtha is toast.

Good morning.
How many grunts here in the FreeRepublic remember seeing a "staff intelligence officer" out in the boonies with them?
I was a Lurp for two years and an adviser for nine months. Gathering intelligence was my job and I don't remember any. Murtha is another phony, like john Kerry and his delivery driver buddy Harkin.
