Is Murtha's district a heavy blue one or does Ivey have a shot? I sure hope she wins! That would be HUGELY demoralizing to the anti-war liberal crowd and a shot across the bow from the American people to liberals that slandering the American military heros for political gain will NOT be tolerated.
Here is a good map of PA District 12 which wraps around Pittsburgh (which is District 14). The western half is basically Ohio River and West Virginia folks, Reagan Democrats, coal miners, steel. Murtha was always considered a hawk, conservative (pro-life, pro-military, etc.). Now he has been exposed. Here is the link:
