Is this a program about Jimmah Carta? May as well be. That little pissant was a contributing factor in the growth of militant Islam.

THAT was a great book. I couldn't put it down. While Bowden obviously thought that Carter got a raw deal and while it was evident that he doesn't think much of Reagan, these are minor flaws in a well-written, well-researched book about the hostage crisis.

I haven't read it, but several Freepers have (see post #11), and all that I've seen have thought it was very good

I've seen Bowden on several interview shows and doing a book talk and answering callers questions on CSPAN.
While he leans left, he does try to be fair and present the facts. He's made a number of friends within the military and seems popular on military bases.

Tonight's program was the rescue attempt. I thought it was informative.
They advertised a show that will be on Monday night (8pm eastern, I think), that looks to be about the hostages themselves and their captivity.
