I do. Every moment of every day. If ever there were those who needed prayer to fend off the never ending vicious attacks from the enemy it is W and our Troops.
Looks like the "War of Liberal Aggression" is creeping closer.
Here is a note about a true story from San Franfreako no less, from Tobin Smith. I suggest we all follow this lead. Neoliberalnot
Greetings,
The war in Iraq is touchy subject here in San Francisco, but, following Toby's suggestion, I just bought coffee for a couple of servicemen this morning. Then someone else came forward and insisted on buying them a chocolate croissant and muffin. To top it off, when we went to pay, the shop owner, a Iranian immigrant, smiled and refused payment for any of it. What a frog I had in my throat.
Thanks,
M. Farr

People who work at journalism full time ought to be able to do a better job of it than people for whom it is a hobby. But that's not going to happen as long as we "professional" journalists ignore stories we don't like and try to hide our mistakes. We think of ourselves as "gatekeepers." But there is not much future in being a gatekeeper when the walls are down.
The author of the "Satan" line must have been looking in the mirror.....
The mark of the 21st Century liberal is a puny imagination.
I recognize Chery...who's the chick on the right?
That'll be a short war.

Thanks.
Oh, what a great story. I witnessed something similar about a year ago I was in Chinese restaurant and there were three National Guardsmen having dinner at a nearby table. When the Guardsmen asked for their check the restaurant owner said it was already paid by a couple who had just left. Everyone who heard what had happened just applauded. Everyone wanted to shake their hands and tell them thank you for your service and such. I know I had a lump in my throat. I hope this is happening all over this country. These young men and women deserve this and so much more. Thanks for sharing.
