What I can't understand is why the advertisers and shareholders aren't screaming bloody murder. Do they really want to be party to this?!

What we need to do is scream bloody murder at the companies that advertise with the NY Times.
I just went over to the NY Times web site and found that my insurance company, Liberty Mutual, had an advertisement on the home page. I intend to call them on Monday to express my outrage and demand that they cease advertising with the NY Times(I will also write a follow-up letter). I will also start looking at other options for insurance.
In addition to the Times being prosecuted, I'd love to see them destroyed financially.
