That statement made me think of the bent one.

That same "bent one" and his chosen companions, all have the same phlosophy of life; "Get them before they get you."

That is another way to express the relationships above. It explains their business thinking, that all big business is a zero-sum game, where you have to cheat them first.

True economists understand that a transaction in business has to benefit both parties. It is not a zero-sum game; it is a win-win for each.

At some time in his life, he could perhaps have been taught this lesson. Too bad he didn't have a good father-figure.

Fathers are important.
