Yagman's attorney immediately accused the government of waging a political prosecution against someone who has repeatedly fought abuse by the government.
The Venice attorney is accused of attempting to evade the payment of more than $100,000 in federal income taxes by concealing his assets and committing bankruptcy fraud, according to the U.S. attorney's office.
Specifically, the indictment charged Yagman with one count of attempting to evade the payment of taxes, one count of bankruptcy fraud and 17 counts of money laundering.

Yep, this defense worked very good for "civil rights attorney" Lynne Stewart too.

According to Tarlow, Yagman successfully sued the IRS and won a "huge" six-figure judgment. "The second investigating agency is the FBI. That agency, as well as the Justice Department, was outraged when Stephen Yagman was selected as a special prosecutor in Idaho in the Ruby Ridge case," he said."""""
Hmmm. Sounds like Yagman's been up against the bad guys in some cases. Don't know anything about him, but suing the IRA -- and going against Ruby Ridge power-abusers -- aren't bad things in my book.

I would take some of that 100G and bribe the court to enact a "religious use of a frying pan to cover one's ass whilst in prison" law.

I don't doubt that.
At a minimum, I hope he loses his law license.
