If he'd denounced the TS material in public and said he was a whistleblower revealing this stuff to protect freedom, then he could have kept his job, been lauded by the MSM, and probably been promoted to a high CIA position.
The Chinese could have quietly paid him, and everything would have been hunky-dory.
