We're doing just fine with the "Dems want to cut and run/Kicking terrorist ass" line on Iraq, trying to throw these old shells into the mix is just weak and dishonest.

I agree with you that our President wasn't talking about this sort of "discovery" in refering to Saddam's WMD, but after hearing almost every single anti-Bush shill discussing the 500 shells, their agrument went like this:

DEM: "Well, it's ONLY 500 shells...."
REP: "500 shells is a SUBSTANTIAL ammount in the wrong hands of someone like Saddam"

DEM:"It's WMD, but not THE WMD...."It's not Bush #2's WMD....."
REP:" But it proves that Saddam tried to hide at least THESE, and maybe more WMD's"

DEM: "Even though it's 500 plus shells, and it is WMD that Saddam didn't destroy when he said he did,(therefore breaking another UN resolution), the find is INSIGNIFICANT because it's 15 years old and DEPLETED and USELESS as a weapon...."
REP:.....(crickets churping, as Dem wins arguement)

When I even heard Jane Harmon, when questioned about the "find", HAVE TO ALSO USE THE "IT"S TOO OLD ANYWAY", to find a point that sealed HER (and the Dem's) arguement as to the TOTAL INSIGNIFICANCE of this discovery of the WMD's, that is why I searched for the article, in case jveritas, or any other Freeper, needed to expose the so far undisputed Dem "it's too old" portion of the "arguement" over the WMD's, as a Dem "opinion", and not an UNDISPUTED FACT.

Thanks also for everyone who has replied to my post(..been here awhile and I don't post that often), and you,Zeroisanumber, (and ALMOST,) every other poster on the thread, have posted very strong, but very civil replies, and that is what I enjoy most about being on FR, and being a Freeper. Lately, the civility, IMHO, has been decreasing into a quite a few more flame wars than used to be the norm.
