In the documentary "Hail, Hail Rock 'n' Roll", Keith Richard came off as an articulate genius next to Springsteen. Ouch!
I liked his stuff once, but it was the 80s and I though big hair was kind of cool too. We all have our youthful indiscretions. That said, just like anyone else, Bruce may talk as much as he likes. And I have the option of not listening. He may now consider me an active non-listener.

Yeah, Keith looked ready to kick Chuck's skinny ass a couple of times in the flick. The funny thing is that after all that mess about the slurred chord, or lack thereof, in the 'Carol' intro, Berry forgets the words. Cracked me up.

Pete Seeger is a life-long commie. Surely Bruce could find a better role model.

When Bruce Springsteen volunteered to sing on the Darfur-Aid program to raise money for the starving people in the Darfur region of Africa, the Darfurians wrote to the producer and said that they weren't that hungry.

"I dont even see it as politics at this point.'' You often hear lefties saying variations of this--I'm reminded of Al Gore these days saying everywhere that global warming is no longer a political issue--and I'm thinking that it points to the Left's need to silence opposition.
In the dirty business of politics, you are forced to win people over with your ideas.
Much, much easier to say "It's not about politics anymore" and command and compel others regardless of what they think.

Rusty... I hope you are refering to Springsteen and not me? LOL
I HAVE NEVER LIKED SPRINGSTEEN... From day one, when my friends were falling all over him in 1973 at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, I thought.. ARE THEY NUTS?!
