One thing I would also add is that in the very beginning of his campaign in 04 he was for the war and supported it...It was really when he realized Dean was stealing his thunder that he flipped over to the anti war crowd and ultimately got nominated based on what the Rats felt like was their only outside chance at winning...great post by the way, I just thought I would add that.

You're right, I had forgot about that. It was Dean that got him to Flip, and then in the general election he Flopped!
