Beyond the Point Of Reason

Whether it’s for abortion, euthanasia, religion, morality, illegal immigration or the war on terror, we could find the right words to formulate the definitive thought or we could find the perfect proof to offer and none of it would mean a thing because we have been arguing with the wind. Liberal Americans aren’t looking for reason, facts, circumstances or resolution. Even though they put all of our lives at risk with their constant griping and even though they offer nothing more than this griping, they trudge forward. They have chosen to go past the point of reason because they want to win—at all costs.

This level of indiscrete behavior on the part of Liberals began in 1998 when they had to all stand in lockstep to defend the indefensible acts of their embroiled leaders, the Clintons. I call it Bubba Syndrome. During those salacious days, Liberals dug their heels all the way to their necks. They told us some sex was not sex, some sexual harassment didn’t matter, some women were not subject to civil rights (if they brought allegations against Bubba), Hillary was just an innocent bystander, and sometimes words had no meaning at all (if they were uttered by a sitting Liberal President).

Bill Clinton could lie under oath, Anita Hill could make baseless allegations against Clarence Thomas, but a whole roomful of women could not present even taped evidence against Bill Clinton. Deep Throat was a hero for helping the Washington Post take down Richard Nixon, but Linda Tripp stepped into Deep Poop for trying to bring a case against Bill Clinton.

This week, we have seen the same strength and depth of the Liberal elite faction to stay the course to attain a political win. Although we have seen a whirlwind of activities that clearly define how dangerous the world is for Americans and how careful we need to be as we wage this war on terror, Liberals have summarily dismissed each and every event to suit their political needs.

Al Zarqawi was taken out, but to them it meant that we were bad because we didn’t do it earlier and when we did, we managed to destroy a neighborhood and a truck.

Two of our fellow countrymen serving in the Marine Corp were kidnapped, brutalized, tortured, mutilated, murdered and defiled and to Liberals, this was just retribution for our military having killed Zarqawi.

North Korea is threatening to use a long-range missile that will supposedly make it to US soil. Even though North Korea is using technology obtained from Bill Clinton, Liberals have the audacity to blame this mess on Bush’s tenacity on the war on terror.

America isn’t sure if our counter defense missiles are operational, should we need them against North Korea, but Liberals don’t want us to test them. That would be just more money not spent on their projects. Forget about preparing to save lives!

Along the same lines is the legislation that Liberals voted against which would have gone towards research and development of safer gear for our soldiers and for technology to counter Improvised Explosive Devises, IEDs which kill more soldiers than any other weapon. Liberals are quick to holler and scream about how many soldiers are dying in this war but when it came to it, they voted against working towards keeping them alive.

And then came the WMD’s—AGAIN--. For those of us who have watched this whole WMD shell game, proof of the existence of Weapons of Mass destruction in Iraq before and after the war has been solidly there on several occasions. We even heard Iraq’s General Georges Sada tell us, the 1440 KEYS audience, that WMD existed and were moved to Syria. His proof was concrete, so he was ignored by the media.

This time 500 more shells of Sarin gas were found, but because it was announced by Congressman Rick Santorum,( Republican of Pennsylvania), Liberals are venomously arguing that these WMDs don’t count either. Santorum is down 18 points in the polls for his re-election and they want to keep him there.

Finally, a terrorist ring preparing to attack Chicago’s Sears tower was stopped when they were infiltrated. Stay tuned next week for all of the Liberal talk on how these poor terrorists were entrapped!

It never ends. How long will we be able to wage a war or run a country while we are so divided and so incapable of reaching a consensus? As long as Liberals are inflicted with this darned case of Bubba syndrome.

They have become a caricature of themselves and are still unaware of it.
John Kerrey is the poster boy with his silly "I've got a plan". The same plan to solve everything, presumably, since he never reveals it.

I've gotten to the point where the automatic response is "don't be silly".
