"Seems to me that the only people who get "ganged up on" at FR are trolls/liberals."
Anyone who is critical of the Canadian administration is immediately attacked by the full collective force of the Canadian posse.
This is a Conservative web site, in much the same way that Jim Robinson explained to everyone a few months ago that this site supports George W. Bush.
We Canadian Conservatives hope FReepers will support Stephen Harper, and the new Conservative Canadian government.
Fortunately, they could also be known as the gang that couldn't shoot.
I am not trying to shoot anyone. I come here to learn.

"Canadian Conservatives hope FReepers will support Stephen Harper, and the new Conservative Canadian government."
I have not been directly critical of the character of Prime Minister Harper. At most, my criticism has been relatively passive and has been kept in the policy realm. I think Prime Minister Harper should not have shut down negative commentary by conservative members in regard to the two mounties getting married in dress uniform. So, as long as the Canadian government remains soft on liberal issues such as gay marriage, as long as they try to be nice to everyone, they will continue to appear soft to the rest of the world.
I don't have any disrespect for Mr Harper or his government. I do disagree with the choices he made on the marriage of two gay Mounties. I think I am right and I think Canadian FReepers attacking me for saying so says more about you than it does about me.

I have stayed on threads unrelated to this matter, indeed my primary interest is and continues to be border security.Border security?

"Three [Definitively-Liberal] strikes"
Dunno about your blind ump routine but, given you & your newbie buddy seem to feel it's perfectly OK to bait & snipe at Canadian conservatives but somehow inherently wrong if we happen to respond, it seems you two much more meet accepted definition:
The essence of being a liberal:
The absolute conviction that there is one set of rules for you, and another, completely different set of rules for everyone else. ~ Ann Coulter
... and speaking of the marvelous Ann, de facto liberals, uppity Canucks daring to stand up to unprovoked & uncalled for vilification and the shrill whining which the last occasions:
"Liberals (masquerading as conservatives) aren't having so much fun now that the rabbit has the gun." ~ ibid.

Almost since you joined Free Republic, you've been on a mission.
You never mentioned which State or Province you reside in.

You see what you want to see. If you go back a month, you will see the only stories I posted on for more than a month were on border security. I support the President.
So, let's say for the sake of argument, that I am homophobic in the extreme, my real issue is simply a hatred of any and all things gay especially gay marriage. If that is what you believe than just ignore me. All I can tell you is I believe Canada has a soft international image. Furthermore, I believe Canada represents a border security risk. I don't see myself changing my beliefs until I see Canada begin to adopt a stronger conservative agenda on social and security policy.

Does it never occur to you that maybe I just think I am right. Why is it so difficult for you to concede that Canada has a soft international image? Or, why can't you dispute that point rather than constantly attacking my character or motives?

You're scrambling, Snow-boy and are making the bigger fool of yourself for your definitive craven coward's need to drag your Euro-weinied bover-booted bully-boy gang along.
Here's my grand misère [Little FRoggy-boy Lingo for you there] picture of me with the maker of your rules.

<< I concede that you think you're right. >>
You are Right, spatso and are also Truthful.
And that makes it an impossibility that you will ever be understood by a native of the insignifigant few acres of ice and snow to the north in which the first word with which every kindergarten kid is indoctrinated is "duplicitous."
Explaining yourself to a subject of that sorry socialist state: -- in which envy-motivated, hesperophobically-hatred-engined and rage-driven America hatred is sucked up with mother's milk and has long, especially since the time of their traitor, Trudeau, been institutionalized -- is about as useful as using English and an FM transmitter to send signals to foreigners able to communicate only in Urdu and to receive only short-wave transmission.

<< "Could not resist making the insinuation that Canada is not a real ally."
I find it strange, a writer for the Washington Post with strong Canadian ties from his childhood makes the comparison between Australia and Canada. Another poster writes about Canada's "gender identity" issues and you get upset with me. Do you not think your anger is with yourself and your powerlessness to change your soft international image. >>
Profound. You really have those guys figgered, spatso. No wonder they hate you, ignore your ideas, refuse to confront and/or to debate the point of any of your posts -- and ping their whole gang to feeding frenzied froth and foam flecked fling themselves upon your person.

One may even claim that while Britain was our mother, God is our father, and that He has been with us every step of the way since we left Britain's skirtfolds.

I have been pondering about moving myself & family to New Zealand.
New Zealand is the number 1 or 2 most anti-American countries in the English-speaking world. Let me quote from a New Zealand blogger David Farrar:
It is of course absolutely legitimate to object to the policies of the current US Government. But too many Kiwis really despise the US regardless of who is in Government there - they see it as the most evil country and as a bigger threat to the world than Al Qaeda etc. People on this blog have even commented that the world would be a better place without the US.
For my part I actually agree with Winston Peters when he said something like if the world is to have a sole super-power, he would rather it is the United States than any other country.

Somewhat reminiscent of the photo of Nancy Reagan & John Wayne Gacy ... and has about the same relevance.
Beyond that, posting it reeks of narcissistic desperation to somehow prove oneself & does nothing to dispel my perception of you as an open hypocrite & wannabe bully hiding behind a lot of otherwise meaningless verbiage.

Probably. Unless they cotton on to the twinkle in my eye. But either way they'll dust off their collectivized hatreds and hop into their American-owned Japanese car company built-in-America cars and RVs and come south again tomorrow to fill their gas tanks and buy American milk, butter, bread, groceries and outlet-center clothing, shoes, appliances and luggages, leaving those places parking lots littered with the detritus of their passing by and with the packaging of all the great American goods they'll all smuggle back to otherwise superior in aboot every imaginable way C-eh?-N-eh?-D-eh!
Eh?

Quite simply a barefaced lie - as can easily be confirmed through even the most minimal posting search.
It's quite amazing that such an obvious intellectual & moral bankrupt has lasted as long as you apparently have on FR.
