I can tell you that here in Hawaii the talk and expressed opinions are heavily in the direction of hanging our heads in shame that an officer, an Island boy would be the one to bring dishonor. This is the home of the most decorated combat Regiment in WWII...the famous 442nd....the go for broke guys.
