A better plan would be to call ahead to make reservations but make it known that you won't stay in a hotel or eat at a resturaunt etc, that employs illegals.
Oh please, although I appreciate the sentiment this is moronic at best...Beside the fact that Arizona tourism will not be boycotted by snowbirds and the fact that Arizona has been a red state for as long as I can remember. For crying out loud why doesn't the author get a life and report the real story of corruption any hypocrisy with McCain and Kennedy and let the folks alone.
Mr. Barry Weinstein is an utterly incompetent writer. If he wants our cooperation, he'd better hire a writing coach.
You forgot the sarcasm tag. Unless, that is, you are going to ask for proof of citizenship of all of their employees.

Actually, it is what one expects for a tunnel built under water
with only one (1) wall.
We have stayed in hotels from Mackinaw City to Nashville and from East Coast to West Coast. In the last five years, I can't remember one that did not have what appeared to be illegals working there. Not one. And I'm not talking about the Indians nor Arabs who own 3/4 of the hotels where we have stayed. We have not limited ourselves to one particular brand of hotels either. Most folks will never take the time to survey the employees of a hotel before they request a room for the night. Travelers just want a clean place to sleep/bathe and then be on their way.
I get it, you don't care if they break the law as long as the servant class is quiet and clean.
Some fine gold courses in AZ, I dunno...
Don't boycott us. We're a good red state. Boycott California if you must.
My point is that travelers don't care who works at a hotel as long as the place is clean. Is someone going to post a sign in front of all the hotels that may employ illegal aliens? Otherwise, it's hard to tell. Maid service is usually not around at 10:00pm when weary travelers are checking in. And the "hot breakfast" help is usually not around then either.
Senator Kyl doesn't support McCain's amnesty. J.D. Hayworth doesn't support McCain's amnesty.
I see no reason to harm them in the process of venting just anger at the culprits. Boycott a city that offers sanctuary to illegals? Okay, if they want, but the intent is to punish the guilty and Arizona should be exempted. MASS? Last I checked they were the only state? one or two? losing population. they are killing themselves well on their own.
With that in mind I offer a suggestion to them that would actually pay divendends. Targeting those that voted for amnesty is good, and I welcome it, but specifically follow McCain's little PAC that has been touring the country challenging conservatives in primaries. Defeat every candidate he (and SOROS) puts up. That will aggravate him to no end and serve better to advance the cause.
I'm so torn! I wanted to go to Mass. and order a fluffernutter to show my support.
In fact I support the road to citizenship proposals for illegals who've been here many years. I think it's a good idea.
So. are you going to make sure all of the employers employees are US citizens?
Well Mr Wizard if you managed any kind of reading comprehension you would see that I quite clearly stated that it's up to the employer. The fact is that I will make a point of telling them that any business hiring illegals won't be getting my business.
Don't only boycott, girlcott too!
So, the employer states that none of his employees are illegal, ergo, all of his employees are United States citizens.
BTW, your reasoning ability is akin to:
