...it would be helpful if it could tell its members what it regards as sinful behavior... Easy.....Conservatism. Actually, no -- it's much easier (and far more fuzzy) than that.
Specifically, it is sinful to "be mean," which is probably best defined as saying "no" to somebody feels very strongly about something.
Note that this is not isolated to the Episcopal Church, nor even churches in general. It is, in fact, the moral standard by which the left operates in all facets of life.
That's why it is a mistake to treat these denominational church dust-ups as isolated events -- they're not. Rather, they're just particular examples of a far larger leftist political movement.

A Conservative saying NO to a leftist is sinful, and a Leftist saying NO to a Conservative is sinful. I really doubt that this is the case.

Bishop Katharine Jefferts Schori must be using Clintoon's personal Bible, the one still in shrink wrap.

Religion was never meant to keep up with the world's views.. these people need to stop perverting Christianity to suit their own sicknesses.

I just wish they would agree with their own teachings... Homosexuality is not a sin, yet they don't want more gay bishops.
Seems rather contradictory ... but then so is refusing to endorse John 14:6

Presiding Bishop-elect Katherine Jefferts Schori declared, "Our mother Jesus gives birth to a new creation. And you and I are His children."
Sounds like the Episcopalian Jesus has some serious gender/biology issues.

It's the EpiscoPAGAN Church, now.

Nah -- it's a one-way street. Conservatives tend to be wretchedly bad at playing the victim card, so it doesn't really work for us. ;-)
