I shudder at the thought. I live near a restaurant where most(?) city police officers seem to visit regularly and every time I see 6'5" officers come in accompanied by a 5'-1" cookie strutting like a peackock, I just shake my head.
Maybe they should be fired for failure to earn their paycheck, not for cowardice.

Don't knock 'em. The vast majority of female cops are seasoned and dedicated professionals. They're capable of doing as good police work as the men. In a lifetime, its very rare for a police officer to ever have to draw a gun. True, that's not the impression TV shows give people but police work for the most part rarely involves facing life-threatening danger. For the most part, its pretty routine.
