We won't pick up Washington. Every Dem vote counts twice there.

You are right that in a close race, republicans need to win by 3 or the dems will try to cheat their way to victory.

you are wrong about chaffee flipping. he could have flipped before jeffords and did not. he could have joined the majority (which is where you want to be) after jeffords flipped and did not. he has consistently refused to join a democrat filibuster even when he supports their position.

"Who's running against Stabenow in Michigan?"

Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard and pastor Keith Butler.

Sanders is ahead by about 30 to 40 points in the land of Socialism - Vermont.
Chafee is ahead by about 1 point in RI. Stabenow has a big lead, so Michigan will be very hard. New Jersey is another problem. Kean is an inexperienced campaigner.

Steele is a great candidate but will lose a close race, I'm sorry to say. Id say wherever OH goes so will MO. Theres no way were going to pickup Maryland and lose Ohio at the same time. I get most of my polling from Rassmusen, its the best.

Minnesota and Washington are the best possible pickups.
